DESCRIPTION:

Casa FLAVIA is a delightful apartment situated in the village of Praiano, an ancient fishing village considered to be 'the heart of the Amalfi Coast'. The apartment is easily accessed by taking a short walk from the main street (approx 100mts.) and the entrance to the house is at street level. It sits in a quiet area of the town with an incomparable view of the old tower - Torre della Praia, and next to the quaint little church of San Tommaso. If you wish to explore the historical tower, it is easily reached from the apartment via a picturesque path with stunning views.

The local grocery shop (which also provides a delivery service) is just a short walk from the apartment and provides fresh local produce ideal for lovers of cooking. And where better place to enjoy your culinary feats, than on the terrace above the apartment! The private terrace above the house,(60mts. sq.) is equipped with a dining area and sun chairs, which allows you to eat, sunbathe and relax in private. For lovers of walking, the famous pathway of 'The Sentiero degli Dei' is easily reached directly from the apartment and Casa FLAVIA is also perfectly placed to explore the maze of quaint streets that run in every direction through the town. The efficient local bus service stops close to the apartment and will take you through the town and on to the local beach of Praia (500mts). This pretty pebble beach is well worth visiting and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants offering menus of local cuisine, in particular fresh fish. It is also accessible by foot taking a street through the town and via a series of steps. The local bus service will also take you to the beach in Positano, a larger town along the coast ( 6 km). The main public transport system (bus/taxi) is just a few minutes walk from Casa FLAVIA, and provides transport to Amalfi, Capri, Positano, Salerno, Sorrento, Pompeii, Ravello, and the city of Naples and also to all of the smaller towns along the coast. The appartament has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished and contains all necessary amenities. The dining/living room is furnished with a double sofa bed and has direct access to a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. The apartment has a corner fitted kitchen and a large a bathroom with a bathtub and hand held shower.
